ToffeeX’s latest release includes two new capabilities, allowing users more flexibility in defining their design setup and getting more precise results faster.
Mesh refinement with STL files
Computational meshes can now also be refined using user-uploaded STL files. These can be used for mesh refinement within the uploaded volume or across its surfaces, enabling the user to capture more detail in key areas of the domain.
This new feature is especially useful for capturing the intricacies of complex designs with small features, as well as enabling improved accuracy of simulation runs for CFD validation.

Non-uniform thermal boundary conditions
Thermal boundary conditions in ToffeeX have now been expanded to include non-uniform temperature and heat flux profiles, which can be applied to Inlets or Walls.
The new feature allows users to model more complex thermal conditions more conveniently. For example, a CPU heat map from the manufacturer or a result from a previous validation can be directly uploaded to capture more realistic conditions for a design run.

These enhancements continue to extend ToffeeX’s capability to handle more complex design scenarios with simpler setup.
